Sangrita (goes with tequila)
- 2 cups tomato juice
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon minced onions
- 1 Serrano chile
- Juice of 2 limes
- Several dashes of Tabasco Sauce
Cut open the Serrano chile and take out the seeds. Mix all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Add extra chiles or tabasco to taste. Strain and refrigerate.
Pour equal amounts of sangrita and a good tequilla, like Don Julio Anejo, into seperate shot glasses. Take a sip of tequilla, then a sip of the sangrita. Repeat.
