Recipe Details:

1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup water
1 large orange, halved and sliced into thin slices
1 lemon, sliced into thin slices
1 lime, sliced into thin slices
1 bottle red wine
about 1 1/2 cups San Pelligrino

In a saucepan, bring sugar and water to a boil until sugar has dissolved. Boil for about 5 minutes. Cool to room temp and pour over the sliced fruit in a bowl. Chill, covered, for 4 hours.

Using a slotted spoon, pick out the fruit pieces from the syrup, reserving syrup and fruit pieces seperately.

Fill a large pitcher with ice, then wine, then fruit and one cup of the syrup. Stir. Add a cup of San pelligrino, or to taste.
