1/4 head of red cabbage, cored, and thinly sliced
1/2 head green cabbage, cored and thinly sliced
2 carrots, grated
1 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 tbsp sesame oil
1/2 cup apple vinegar
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
Soak red cabbage in a bowl of cold water for 30 minutes. Drain and dry. Place in large bowl, add green cabbage and carrots. Toss. Drizzle with vegetable and sesame oils and toss. Whisk vinegar, sugar and salt together. Pour over slaw and toss.
If you want, add chicken and some toasted almonds!!!
